Dr. Victor Chung, a board-certified specialist and facial plastic surgeon in San Diego, offers a range of popular cosmetic surgery and non-surgical services.

La Jolla, California (February 2016) — La Jolla Facial Plastic Surgery opens its doors in February, with founder Dr. Victor Chung offering patients popular cosmetic surgery and non-surgical procedures in an atmosphere that's designed to be relaxed and welcoming.

"We're excited about launching our practice," says Dr. Chung, a board-certified specialist with fellowship training in facial plastic surgery. "Our team is focused on providing personalized patient care in a comfortable and trusting environment."

Dr. Chung says he established his facial plastic surgeon practice to offer San Diego residents advanced techniques without having to travel to Los Angeles. He says the boutique practice aims to develop long-lasting relationships with women and men who want to maintain youthful appearances that match their active lifestyles.

"I believe in the holistic treatment of patients," Dr. Chung says. "Balancing aesthetics and function from a surgical aspect is important to create results that look natural. But, I also discuss nutrition and fitness as part of aesthetic care and improved long-term outcomes."

Dr. Chung, who earned his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston after graduating from Yale University with a chemistry degree, says his office décor is inspired by the La Jolla shores.

"We completely overhauled the 1,100-square-foot space," he says. "Our flooring resembles the weathered boardwalk, and the counters have a Carrara marble finish. The accents of glass and steel add a subtle, modern component to the soothing environment."

Dr. Chung says it is a virtually paperless practice, using cutting-edge, secure technology. There are 2 comfortable exam rooms where he performs minor outpatient procedures and a dedicated photo studio, where high-resolution and 3-D pictures are taken to help patients track their progress. The surgeon has privileges at Scripps Memorial Hospital, where he performs surgical procedures.

A grand opening is scheduled for the spring, when the rhinoplasty specialist will welcome San Diego-area residents who want to get a look at the practice and meet him personally.
